Meeting point for Yes Lochaber at the Tron Kirk, High Street, Edinburgh at 11am prior to the 2013 March and Rally

For those interested in meeting up prior to the 2013 Independence March & Rally we have identified a convenient meeting point.

The meeting point for Yes Lochaber is the Water Bowl, next to the Tron Kirk, on the High Street, Edinburgh. The two images below show the location of the Water Bowl and a close up image for easy identification.

Participants should gather at the meeting point from around 11am.

Currently, the weather forecast is for cloud cover with sunny periods but no rain. However, suitable waterproof and warm clothing should be brought as Calton Hill can be quite exposed. Comfy shoes for walking and extended standing are also recommended. If available do bring your Hi Viz vests.

March and Rally Itinerary

This year the assembly point for the March will be on the High Street (Royal Mile), Edinburgh. The marchers will then proceed down the High Street, across the North Bridge and along Waterloo Place/Regent Road to arrive at the Rally on Calton Hill. Our meeting point at the Tron Kirk will place us just up from the North Bridge.

The March is scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon which will give the marchers one hour to cover the short distance to Calton Hill for the Rally starting at 13:00.

The map image below shows the route of this year's March.
