Why vote Yes?

We believe voting Yes in the referendum is about building a better Scotland not just for ourselves but for our future generations.

Just One Word - Yes
Just One Word - Yes

There seems to be a clear direction of travel for recent Westminster governemnts no matter the party, or parties, in charge. Instead of looking after those in need the UK demonstrates its clout by entering into illegal wars. Through lax regulation of the financial markets Westminster allows the worst economic crises of recent times and instead of making the bankers pay they force the cost on those least able to afford it.

Using austerity as an excuse an idealogical programme is initiated to dismantle the welfare state and introduce further privatisation to enrich the elites in society. At a time when there is an explosion in the need for food banks (often for those in work) and child poverty is increasing Westminster wants to find £100 billion to buy replacement Trident nuclear weapons.

On the 18th of September 2014 the people of Scotland have the opportunity to choose a different set of priorities.

Choosing one word, Yes, starts us on the road to a better, fairer and more prosperous Scotland.
